1. This LED Docking Light uses high intensity Cree LEDs. The light uses 316 stainless steel material cover and an aluminum heat sink bottom, which is for heat dissipation. The stainless steel cover is stamped and mirror polished. The polish process involves a lot of hard work and it causes environmental damage, so few and few companies are doing this. To have some reliable suppliers are the key to make high standard products. 

2. It also has a transparent lens on it. The tranparent lens is made of PC and it is tooled and injected. 

3. It is used on a boat so it has to be strong enough to endure salt and be water resistant.
